Normally you would think of a beautiful blue when you hear "Delft".
Well the is so, however as you will see in the graphics of the project "Stitch Outs"
I have used several different colours of threads and fabrics.
Don't limit yourself to the colours suggested in the files,
Use your imagination and create your project with
your very own personal touch.
The Projects that I created with these
Delft Geisha consisted of
A long narrow wall quilt featuring a Blue Print background with three Geisha stitched in Blue on white broadcloth. Each of the ovals was stitched with a dark blue pearl essence thread
A wide wall quilt featuring a plain Yellow Background with three Geisha stitched on various shades of Blue using white threads. The ovals were stitched with a yellow thread to match the wall quilt background.
Four Wall Plaques with Black backgrounds. Each Geisha was stitched with black thread on different pastel shades of broadcloth and the oval was stitched using a pearl-essence thread to closely match the oval background shade.
